Just finished the final mix of Phil Leadbetter's new CD, "Slide Effects" on Pinecastle Records. Scott played

banjo, midi banjo, recorded, and co-produced the project along with Phil. Guests include Marty Raybon,

Byron House, Steve Gulley, Stuart Duncan, Alice Vestal, Matt Leadbetter, Andy Leftwich, Robert Hale, Gene Johnson,

Steve Thomas, Darrel Web, Ronnie Bowman, Garnet Imes, and Cody Kilby.

After being at the top of the charts all summer Phil's "Slide Effects" CD wins Instrumental Album Of The Year

at the 2005 International Bluegrass Music Awards.

It's been a busy year with Sam, Byron, Chris, Keith, Rob, and Zack, along with putting the finishing touches on our new

project. Alice and I have been working hard on getting this recording just right. Featuring Chris Brown, Byron House, 

Randy Kohrs, Casey Driesen, Jeff Autry, Steve Thomas, Bobby Newman, Alice Vestal, and myself, it is comprised of all 

new material with the exception of a couple of jazz standards. Look for it to be out in early 2006.
